Growing up in South Wales, I started my obsession with music at a young age.
With a school run soundtrack of The Mamas & The Papas, The Beach Boys, The Police, The Beatles and Eric Clapton it wasn’t long before I started to ask about “how to do” music. A few years later, I made my public debut competing in a local Eisteddfod, performing The Darkness’s I Believe In A Thing Called Love. Competing against a harpist, a flautist, two violinists and a pianist I finished... joint last. Despite the rocky start, I went on to study guitar at the Royal Northern College of Music, and kept myself busy gigging in and around the UK, Europe and US, along with composing a few bits for BBC Wales. Take a look around and enjoy, Will x |
